Good news about baby Lindsay. She has been moved out of Intensive Care. That's progress! She was one month old on Sunday, and they had moved her into Intermediate Care on Saturday. She's breathing completely on her own, but is still being fed through a tube into her stomach. She's a beautiful baby, and now we can hold her. Thanks for your prayers. Say a few more, please, so she will be able to go home before too long. Many thanks.

We have made a little progress today scanning some old pictures and setting them on a few pages. Looking at these images of our young parents and grand parents I am reminded of the resemblances to them that I often see in our own children. We will have to create a little side feature to put old and new photos together for comparison.
There are many miracles and wonders to recall and discover in this enterprise and I am happy to be sharing them with all of you.
Doreen, Give our love to your Mom and wishes for a speedy recovery. - RW3

Thanksgiving Greetings From cousin Doreen
"Thanksgiving, Britta, Benjamin and I will be leaving our mountaintop to go over the river and the through the woods heading out to the wilds of Long Island to have dinner with the family at Wendy's. If the weather is not too bad we'll try to take in the parade on our way.
Our Mom is having major surgery 11/16 and will still be in the "big house" eating hospital food so we'll be stopping by to see her (and bring turkey...) These holiday dinners are the perfect place to gather news and ideas for this site,I look forward to all the entries post T-day.
( If anyone sees Brian, tell him to call.)
Up here on Green Pond Mt, there are snow flurries outside tonight - so Uncle George better stay on that southern heading - hope there's clear sailing (or motoring).
Hello to everyone and hope you all have lots to be Thankful for!"

From cousin Cathy Rose we have this email: "Greetings from sunny Florida! Uncle George needs to come to Florida, you can really thaw your bones here! The weather right now is actually kind of cool - 70 degrees! Anyway, I will be heading north in 7 days for a long Thanksgiving holiday with the family. I am looking forward to meeting my new niece. My fiance will join me after a few days. Hope all is well with everyone."

Richard Morey checked in today to say that, "Most of us (Moreys) were in NYC at Kip's this weekend with Clare who ran the NYC Marathon... in just over 4 hours (4:13 I think)." He is setting forth collecting photos and such for a Morey clan contribution.

And from Steve and Tish White, in Michigan (were Uncle George reported he recently froze his now southern bones) we received some family information and a promise of drag racer pictures to come. It sounds as though about half of the motor vehicles owned by the White clan are owned by Steve and Tish.

Barbi and I and four-year old twins Helen and Fiona are taking off tomorrow for a long weekend of visiting and touristing in Boston. I look forward to a nice pile of email and pictures to fill up these pages in my evenings next week. So talk us up, keep the goodies coming and we'll chat again next week. - RW3

Well here goes nothin'! I sketched this out on the train tonight and hammered it into shape after dinner. We have already heard from cousins Doreen and Susan White who are getting excited to see what comes of all this. Susan has volunteered to get the Ed White family started collecting stories and pictures over the holidays.
As we get rolling each of the items on the right will link to pages. You keep the cards, letters and especially email coming and I'll fill in the blanks.
I'll also send email to the list when the site changes significantly. - RW3

We asked Uncle George if they might be visiting the NY area over the holidays - he replied
"We're planning on Myrtle Beach in mid January, and that's as far north as our now southern bones will allow.
We just got back from Michigan where it got down to the high 20's with an occasional snow flake. We've had our winter thank you.
Actually, we're thinking about taking the boat to Florida for half of Jan and the better part of February. Even Charleston can get chilly.
Fly in the ointment is Doris' continued thirst to work. May have to make some legs of the trip alone.
Pass it on to your web site, maybe there are relatives who want a bit of winter sunshine on the water. At this time we can coordinate to most any schedule."
