The
wedding was on January 19, 1920 (the date is not in the
paper). There is a sentence about Pop's service overseas
in World War I mentioning how long he was overseas. There
is a blur in the paper and I cannot read the number of months.
From letters Pop sent to Mom, I think he sailed for Europe
in mid April 1918. He was still in France in February 1919
but expected to be heading home soon. So he probably was
overseas about 11 months. I've typed the article with spelling
and grammar just like it was in the paper!

This is Uncle Dick with Mom's Mom, Grandma Fitz. Born Catherine Burke in 1860 at County Mayo, Ireland, she emmigrated to the US and in 1889 married William Francis Fitzgerald at Auburn Mass.
