From
Cousin Richard White this news:
Barbi
is finishing up her med school training this spring
at NY Medical College. She has matched with Middlesex
Hospital in Middletown, CT to do her three-year residency
beginning in July.
So,
we are selling the house in Stamford and beginning
to look for a place an hour north-east of here - maybe
in Cheshire - which will be convenient to both Middletown
and Richard's job in New Haven.
Be
careful what you wish for...

Another
submission from Aunt Sharlie is soyer's soup. "I
picked it up in some Irish book."
Sharlie
doesn't say whether or not she has actually served it
or if the peasants concurred with the noblemen and ladies.

We
received two emails in February from our Molloy Cousins
who came upon our family website and sent regards. You
may recall from Aunt Sharlie's remembrance of Garrywadreen,
that "We visited the Molloy Grocery owned by cousins
Noel and Barry Molloy with whom we share the same great-great-grandparents."
first this:

I've
just seen your record of the trip to county Mayo and must
say that I haven't read such a well written piece for
a long time. I'm one of the Molloy's from Roscommon, but
living in Australia now. I'll send your web address to
all the relations in Ireland. By the way my daughter's
record of her trip to Roscommon is at www.angelfire.com/pe/roisinm

this:

Hi
My
name is Alan Molloy from Roscommon. I wanted to write
to say how beautifully written this piece was. The Barry
Molloy you mentioned in the piece from Roscommon is my
father. Its nice to see how important your family's history
is to you. Especially in a world where the past & family
in many ways seems to hold so little meaning or value
for people.
